Fiction and non-fiction writer. Currently editing debut novel based in Barbados, exploring themes of masculinity, depression and classism centered around the first Covid lockdown.
Sam is a keen writer and musician, although he has previously worked as a sailor and consults on digital marketing for select clients.
He is working on a number of projects, although he hopes to finish his novel by mid 2022, so he can complete a collection of short stories tackling some of life’s biggest questions. That is before he gets started on a trilogy of dark satire novels that he’s been putting off for a while..! He is also drafting an idea for a fantasy fairytale novel…
Sam Ramsey Writing has been set up to showcase some of his non-fiction work, most recently articles written for Barbados Foodie Magazine where he wrote on food, travel and tourism as well as interviewed prominent foodie figures in the local community.
It will also serve to showcase some of his works of fiction before they are available through traditional publishing routes.
